The internet is laden with blogs about travel but you don’t have time to read them, you have to shovel out the 44 inches of snow you just got. This column will allow you to sift through the schlock and get to blowing snow into the neighbor's yard. Check us out on twitter at #travelblogoftheday.
Some people out there are eternal students. Not me, I got done with school and was gone before the diploma gathered any dust. I wanted to see the world and I thought you couldn’t do that and be an eternal student at the same time. After reading this story, you will figure out: boy was I wrong.
Anna is Polish by birth only, although she does speak the language; one of six including English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch. Seven if you want to include her German, which is only intermediate!
She has moved around the world, mostly on her own, finding friends in different countries and bouncing back to family once in a while. She also managed in the middle of her voyages to secure her bachelor’s degree, two masters', two post-graduate diplomas and a post-graduate certificate, all while holding down jobs and socking away her money to be a serial traveler.
She calls herself a “smart luxury solo female traveler” which basically means no backpacking, relatively few hostels, plus she likes to eat real food and lives carefully on a budget.
She has advice for travelers, expats, destinations and more and she breaks it up really well. She says that she isn’t a photographer, but she shoots beautiful photos. I am sure it is just a matter of time before she gets another master's, this time in photography. She loves her food, wildlife and extreme sports and I am sure that she has plans on upping her total of 62 countries visited so far. Follow along with her and find out where she is going to work, play and study next!
