Someone in my family, I don't know if it was my parents, my aunts and uncles, my grandmother or my friend, but someone, somewhere said this exact quote to me, "You need to be unhappy for 20 years in a job so that you can retire and then be happy."
I live my life a little bit different. I am going to be happy every day of my life and then I am going to retire, and still be happy. Which is why I love to see young people embracing life the exact same way. There is no, "work a crappy job and be miserable so that I can make a lot of money and then retire and everything will come up roses." Today's blog is right there in that sweet spot.

Alicia is just 22 and yet she has managed to get herself from her upbringing in the U.K. to Paris, and then with the help of a soul mate, to Asia. She is now currently backpacking her was around Asia and blogging about it. She has a Vietnam and Cambodia travel guide on her website and peppers in travel tips, how-to guides and pictures of the day as well.
Her blog is young, as she is as well, but there is a great curiosity and satisfaction of watching Nicole and her boyfriend make their way around the continent.
