Travel blogs out there number in the millions and hours in the day are limited. We are doing a once-over to give you a bunch of creative, awesome, engaging, active travel blogs that are worth you taking a look.
One of the things that I love about searching the web everyday is the way that you "see" the web now more than you "read" it. The internet is a very visual place. Podcasts are now video instead of just audio, more people take selfies with apps like Vine instead of Instagram, and blogs are more visually based than text. Which brings us to today's Travel Blog of the Day.
The Barefoot Nomad

The first thing you notice when you get the blog is that they believe in putting up great pictures that draw you into their posts. Just clicking into any one of them brings up a barrage of great pics with a poignant story to tell along with it. Who are these people?
Charles and Micki Kosman started traveling in 2003 away from their native Canada and around the world. Flash forward 11 years later they are back in British Columbia, planning for their next big travel adventure, working on their websites and giving their kids a little time for conventional schooling. But that doesn't mean that they don't have something awesome to share at least two to three times a week.
Whether it's their tips on, "traveling with kids, why kids are amazing, tech gear we take with us, or possible jobs you can do while traveling," they offer up some great advice all the time. They offer up tech reviews, break up their blogs by continent and even have a cool section on travel jobs that you can use to help propel your own trip around the world. Give it a read and let them (and me) know what you think!
