Travel Blog of the Day: The Travel Manuel

The internet is big and it takes time to search it. There are millions of travel blogs out there. The good news is that we are going to sift through them and bring you a bunch of creative, awesome, engaging, active travel blogs that are worth you taking a look. We call it our Travel Blog of the Day.

The longer that I write the Travel Blog of the Day, the more I find myself asking the question: What inspires someone to leave their home, their friends and family, and all of their worldly belongings to travel the world? What is the tipping point? The answer that I am starting to understand is that it is different for everyone.

For some it may be a job loss or a life changing event. For others it is a wanderlust that keeps egging them on from the inside; that voice that keeps calling you until you answer it. Some people just need a change. Today, we head to South Africa.

The Travel Manuel

Vaughn and Lauren are from Cape Town, South Africa and have been traveling since two weeks after they were married. Both of them were travelers to begin with, Lauren having been a blogger since 2008 and Vaughn a writer as well, they decided to make their life's mission to travel the world, and try to inspire others to do the same.

Like many travel blogs, they break their site up by continents, but they also include separate headings for tech, capture (their photography), eat, sleep and goodies (their deals and giveaways). If you like photography, their pictures are absolutely beautiful. Check out Malacca: Art And The Streets and Colours Of Kalk Bay, Cape Town, just two of my favorites.

The posts are as interesting as the pictures and you might find a bit of inspiration behind what they are doing, which is exactly why they are doing it. Go give it a look and when you find that tipping point in your life, get out there and travel the world.
