A new wave of travelers are blazing a trail of two- or three-day trips that are packed with adventure, writes Collette Stohler for the Huffington Post. But when they do take vacation, they are looking to take their activities to the next level.

For those looking to put together their own weekend adventure, Stohler has put together a list of ideas.
