Beginning this week, the web's premier destination for travel news, tips and advice is teaming up with one of the Internet's most trafficked information portals, as TravelPulse begins an exciting new partnership with MSN.
TravelPulse articles will now be featured throughout various sections of MSN, including a regular presence on the MSN Travel channel.
TravelPulse founder and CEO Mark Murphy said the relationship with MSN is a bold new chapter for the No. 1 news and information source for everything travel.
"This is just the latest in a worldwide expansion of the TravelPulse brand. We are proud and honored to be part of the exclusive group of content partners with MSN," Murphy said. "We're thrilled that MSN has recognized what so many of our readers tell us-that TravelPulse is a bookmarked site they must visit each and every day."
Murphy said the MSN deal is the latest validation of the site's pivot to expand the audience and grow the site.
"I made the decision to bring in a whole new team to take TravelPulse to the next level, despite pushback from individuals no longer with us," Murphy said. "Since that time, we have signed numerous syndication deals, driving our traffic 500 percent higher in less than three years. I think that speaks for itself."
"Change is hard, and not for everybody, so you have to find the right people to take things to the next level," added Murphy. "The team we've assembled at TravelPulse has done exactly that, and we expect to see significant growth as the MSN relationship grows."
In addition to MSN, TravelPulse signed syndication deals with the Tribune Content Agency and their more than 600 consumer outlets, as well as FOXNews.com.
TravelPulse reaches millions of readers each year with a wide variety of content on newsmakers, must-see destinations, trends and deal alerts that are must-sees for travelers. Editor-in-chief Tim Wood says you can expect to see TravelPulse insider travel tips, the latest travel news, features, dispatches and reviews on MSN in the coming weeks and months.
"Our staff has worked so hard to celebrate the magic of travel and those who make the best travel destinations into trips of a lifetime. This MSN partnership is an amazing forum to share that insight with an ever-expanding audience," Wood said. "MSN readers can expect the best consumer travel coverage on the Web from TravelPulse, with a knowledge, zest and passion for every topic that makes our content so unique."
MSN averages more than 165 million worldwide unique visitors each month as it continues to grow and evolve its depth and breadth of news, features and opinion content across an array of topics.
The site is just the latest in a growing roster of TravelPulse content partners that includes the Tribune Content Agency (syndicated to more than 600 media and digital publishers in nearly 100 countries, including the biggest newspapers in the U.S.), FoxNews.com Travel and the AgentStudio network of travel agents, which syndicates TravelPulse news to more than 3,500 travel agent websites across the country.
