In another exciting installment of TravelPulse Radio, TravelPulse.com Editor in Chief Tim Wood and Managing Editor Michael Schottey have returned to bring travelers the hottest industry news and an interview with Avoya Travel Vice President of Sales Scott Koepf.
First, Wood and Schottey discussed the concept of keeping conversations about politics and travel separate. While many people feel the two topics should never be broached at the same time, others acknowledge that travelers are human and have opinions on today's hot-button debates.
In addition, the boys of TravelPulse Radio also spoke about the announcement that the Carnival Cruise Line was granted approval to begin sailing to Cuba as soon as June 2017. The news comes less than a year after Carnival's historic May 2016 sailing to Cuba aboard its Fathom brand.
Following the conversations centered on the hottest topics in travel, Wood and Schottey also sat down for an interview with Avoya Travel's Scott Koepf. The industry veteran spoke about how Avoya Travel dominated in the 2017 Travvy Awards, as well as speaking on the topic of mixing politics and travel as an agent.
