Cultural differences can really make you stand out as a visitor to another country, but some activities can be downright offensive or illegal. A new report in the UK’s Express, highlights several places where common American behaviors could get visitors in trouble.
For example, in Mexico, it’s illegal to “shout offensive words in any public place, and any kind of nude artistic display is also illegal,” reports Helen Coffey.
Cuba has some interesting laws about photography.
“Taking photos of harbors, railways and airports is strictly forbidden as is taking a snap of military and police facilities and personnel,” notes Coffey.

Alcohol is a bone of contention in several countries. In the United Arab Emirates, for example, public drunkenness is illegal and in Saudi Arabia, all forms of alcohol are prohibited.
