When it comes to traveling the world, you don’t want to look like the new kid on the block. Stephanie R. Caudle of She’s My Superwoman shares these tips on Huffington Post on how to travel smart this fall.
First off, she suggests investing in smart, sensible luggage.
“For men and women both you can easily find luggage that works as both a handbag and a brief case. This makes carrying on luggage less of a pain and also more fashionable and stylish,” she advises.
Caudle also suggests leaving behind your valuables.
“If you must travel with your jewelry stick with something casual and light such as a watch or a charm skull bracelet that can be worn on any travel occasion rather for work or for personal travel,” she recommends.
When it comes to what to wear when you hit the road, layers are best. Weather can vary when you are traveling from place to place, meaning functional options are going to be your best bet.

“The rule of thumb is to layer up especially when you don’t know what the weather will be like once you reach your destination. It is easier to take off more layers than it is to find more layers to add on,” she says.
