Are you ready to celebrate World Food Day this Oct. 16? As we reported earlier, WalletHub research has determined the nation’s top foodie cities.

And now that the list is in, here's where you can experience destination.

No. 1 – Orlando, Florida

Foodies can read up on where to eat in Orlando in USA Today. Their list suggests Luma on Park as one of the top spots in the city. Located on Winter Park’s main drag, its a win for local seafood such as Cape Canaveral swordfish.

Orlando Weekly 2016 restaurant list suggested must-try new restaurants and KrungThep Tea Time, which topped its rankings with its unique take on Thai food faves.

No. 2 – Portland, Oregon

Eater Portland recently suggested the top places to dine in Portland for the fall and among the top 38 are Le Pigeon and neighborhood fave Coquine, which features a  locally sourced seasonal menu.

No. 3 – Miami, Florida

Leave it to Thrillist to suggest some of the best eats in Miami. And number one is Eating House in Coral Gables, where locals line up -- even in the humidity -- for eclectic, locally sourced food.

Taking the number-two spot is Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Miami Beach with classic southern cuisine and farm-fresh ingredients.

No. 4 – Tampa, Florida ranked the top 50 restaurants in the city and Edison: Food+Drink Lab was at the top of the list, "serving inventive American plates inspired by the chef's daily experiments."

Proving that the farm-to-table trend is alive and well, FarmTable Kitchen was number two on the list.

No.  5 – San Francisco, California
Eater’s San Francisco rankings for the fall suggest heading to Old Mandarin Islamic Restaurant for dumplings, lamb, tofu and Beijing style hot pots in a communal atmosphere.

Head to Zazie for brunch — but get there early, as lines are insane. You will however be rewarded with gingerbread pancakes and delicious home fries.

La Cicci is an ode to Sardinian Italian cuisine in family-run establishment located in Bernal Heights.

No. 6. – Cincinnati, Ohio
Serious Eats says that “Cincinnati has always been a stunner in terms of its culinary prowess.”

For those wondering where to eat, Arnold’s Bar & Grill for “straightforward Italian” and a good pint.

And check into the Orchids at the Palm at the Hilton Cincinnati for a classic dining experience. According to Serious Eats, the restaurant, which opened in 1931, has hosted Winston Churchill and Elvis Presley. Marvel in its art-deco decor while dining on locally sourced comfort food.

No. 7 – St. Louis, Missouri

Looking for delicious dining in St. Lousi, Mo.? STL Today suggests heading to Elaia for fine dining. While small on space -- there's only seating for 36 -- the restaurant is big on Mediterranean cuisine served in a romantic setting.
