Black Friday signals the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. And while fearless shoppers heading out to the mall this weekend are certain to find some amazing deals, they can also save big on their accommodations by finding the right vacation rental.

Mall of America

Minnesota's Mall of America is a premier shopping destination no matter the time of year. But Black Friday promises to be an especially hectic day. To avoid any additional unwelcome stress and costs, visitors should consider a vacation rental in nearby Minneapolis.

The average rate for a two-bedroom TripAdvisor Vacation Rental in Minneapolis this month is just $144 per night, but guests can book a three-night stay at a two-bedroom condo for as little as $127 per night this upcoming Black Friday weekend.

Houston Galleria

Shoppers in the Houston area can score similar vacation rental deals for a Black Friday getaway to The Galleria. According to TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals, the average November rate for a two-bedroom property in Houston is $157 per night.

But a private room sleeping two and just 15 minutes away from The Galleria is available for under $40 per night.

Las Vegas Premium Outlets

Travelers looking to take advantage of Black Friday deals at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets in Sin City will also want to consider a vacation rental this fall. The average rate for a two-bedroom TripAdvisor Vacation Rental in November comes in at just $180 per night, which breaks down to just $45 per person for a group of four.

This one-bedroom townhome that sleeps four close to the Strip can be had for less than $140 per night.
