Travel Leaders Acquires ARC Business Intelligence Tool

The program’s primary features include performance management, benchmarking, incentive tracking and market analysis.
The tool provides Travel Leaders with the ability to view data measured by airlines against its own metrics, ARC said. Additionally, it will enable the company to analyze volume and fares across a focus group of competitors, and help it identify travel trends in both growing and declining markets.

One way we can drive further value for our corporate clientele is to ensure that our pricing measures up favorably with business intelligence,” said Barry Liben, CEO of Travel Leaders Group. “The ARC tool will offer us additional analytics, including undisputable benchmarking data against peers. Combined with our own analytics, we will be able to deliver even more savings to our clients during vendor negotiations.”
In other developments, ARC unveiled the City Pair Report, which offers benchmarking data and analysis on origin and destination airport pairs selected by clients.
“This new product was conceived by corporate travel buyers for corporate travel buyers, said Doug Mangold, ARC’s managing director of product. “At ARC, we understand the challenges and complexities of managing a corporate travel program, but the data that we have can provide unmatched insight into market level performance.”
ARC is offering GBTA attendees complimentary samples of the City Pair Report.
During the conference, the company also unveiled an enhanced version of FareSight, a benchmarking tool designed to improve air travel policies by capitalizing on ARC data.
