Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer and peak travel season.
While AAA projects that more than 38 million Americans will travel at some point during this upcoming holiday weekend, the last weekend in May will also provide travelers with several fantastic opportunities to save big on summer travel.

Travelers eyeing an extended weekend stay in one of the holiday's premier destinations should consider EPIC Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel.
This four-star hotel located in downtown Miami is offering a handful of perks for guests who book a Memorial Day Weekend stay. Perks include complimentary 3 p.m. check-out and a welcome bottle of bubbly to kick off the celebration.

Nightly rates range from $219 (May 31) to $289 (May 27-28) and guests should remember to enter the rate code "Perk" at booking.
Save Up to 30 Percent at Ace Hotel
Super hip boutique hotel chain Ace Hotel is slashing room rates at seven hotels for travelers who book this holiday weekend.
Travelers can simply book with the code "BANANARAMA" now through Tuesday, May 31 to score discounts of up to 30 percent on stays between now and September 29.
Participating Ace Hotel properties include locations in some of the most coveted summer destinations, including Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, London and Panama.
Save Big on Accommodations, Airfare with Club Med
If for some reason you're unable to vacation this Memorial Day then be sure to take advantage of Club Med's holiday flash sale.
Now through Wednesday, June 1, travelers can save thousands (up to $3,000 per booking) on stays between June 11 and August 27.

What's more, those who book during the Memorial Day window will also receive up to $1,200 in airfare credits.
Five Club Med resorts are participating in the flash sale, including Mexico's Club Med Cancun Yucatan and Club Med Ixtapa; Florida's Club Med Sandpiper Bay and the Caribbean's Club Med Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Club Med Turkoise (Turks & Caicos).
