Situated on a spot that famed U.S. author James Albert Michener once described as “the most beautiful Bay in the Caribbean,” Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina in St. Lucia offers its guests an incomparable ultra-luxury experience. Guests, regardless of whether they are honeymooners, couples looking for a very private (and pampered) getaway or families out for fun, will be treated to the highest levels of personal service.
Accommodations. With 124 recently renovated rooms, including 57 suites (most with a private hot tub), the resort provides guests with uncompromising luxury and privacy. Each spacious room is beautifully decorated with West Indian-inspired furnishings enhanced by aqua, coral and rainforest green accents, a private balcony and five-star amenities. Each room was designed to provide guests with a tranquil haven in which to relax at the end of the day. Those in need of more space may wish to consider a two- or three-bedroom suite.
Wining and Dining. You don’t compromise when it comes to where you stay. Why would you compromise when it comes time to eat? Capella Marigot Bay’s signature restaurant, The Grill at 1461, offers gourmet Saint Lucian cuisine in an upscale casual setting with spectacular views of Marigot Bay. The Rum Cave is an authentic rum cellar where connoisseurs can sample the area’s best rum and cigars, while watching the yachts dock in the nearby marina. In addition to several casual dining options, Capella Marigot Bay offers guests several private dining options including the chance to eat at the Tree House, a unique fairy-tale spot for an intimate meal.
Activities. The world is your oyster on Saint Lucia. With the majestic Pitons in the distance and brilliant white sand beaches, there is always something exciting to do. Guests of the Capella Marigot Bay have a personal assistant at their disposal who can arrange for anything one might imagine, be it a sunset cruise up the coast, a deep-sea fishing expedition or a diving adventure to one of the many coral reefs just off the shoreline. Guests also can take a complimentary beach ferry to LaBas Beach or visit one of Saint Lucia’s many striking beaches, including Anse De Pitons Beach, Anse Mamin Beach, Pigeon Point, Anse Chastanet Beach and Anse Cochon. Families may take advantage of activities designed especially for them when they enjoy a three-night stay on one of the Capella Marigot Bay’s suites. Kids will have the thrill of a lifetime when they get a yachting lesson and have the chance to explore Marigot Bay, or enjoy a scenic climb up Marigot Bay Ridge. Babysitting services (one four-hour session) are also available.

Auriga Spa & Fitness. Nestled between Marigot Bay and a lush, tropical garden, this unique indoor/outdoor spa takes pampering to new heights. The spa takes an unusual approach to wellness, basing its treatments on the cycles of the moon. Its treatments, which incorporate a mélange of ancient customs representative of the island’s own cultural heritage, feature products from The Organic Pharmacy, the only one to use 100-percent organic products and treatments. The Salon at Auriga, meanwhile, offers a full range of beauty and hair treatments, while the fitness center offers more health conscious guests personal training and yoga sessions, as well private instruction in other areas of fitness.
