Following its success in Europe and the United States, a FibraHotel and Marriott International joint venture is now making an impact in Mexico with the debut of the 188-room AC Hotel Guadalajara Mexico and 175-room AC Hotel Queretaro Antea.
As the brand's trailblazers into the Latin America and Caribbean region, the pair will be joined this year by additional properties slated to roll out in Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Panama City (Panama) and Santiago (Chile).
According to Toni Stoeckl, vice president Lifestyle Brand, Marriott International, Marriott is excited to deliver this new breed of lifestyle hotel to Mexico's dynamic neighborhoods of Queretaro and Guadalajara. "Our rapidly growing portfolio of design-led hotels illustrates Marriott International's commitment to making distinctive architecture and design affordable and accessible for creatives and entrepreneurs around the world," Stoeckl said.

FibraHotel CEO Simon Galante added that his company is pleased to join Marriott in this Mexico emergence. "These hotels address the Mexican travelers' desire for hotels with style and functional design, while also providing unique and authentic experiences in major cities," said Galante. "I have no doubt these two hotels will be a major success and set the tone for future lifestyle brands in Mexico."
The AC Hotels concept is based on providing guests only what they need through purposeful design that focuses on what is important to that guest. Properties deliver an unpretentious style that is still sophisticated, creative food and beverage offerings and experiences that are locally inspired.

Near the historic town center just a few minutes' walk from the Museo Regional, AC Hotel Guadalajara reflects the colonial-rooted city's mix of modern and classical style.
Travelers can spend a day sightseeing at Bosque de Los Colomos, Hospicio Cabanas and Teatro Degollado.
Inspired by the surrounding city, AC Hotel Queretaro Antea offers easy access to Antea LifeStyle Center, El Acueducto de Queretaro and the Museum of Arts of Queretaro.
Taking sleek, modern influence from the brand's European roots, guest rooms are furnished with spacious work desks, ergonomic chairs, mini-bars, flat screen TVs with international channels and luxury bedding. Both properties feature a fitness center and swimming pools.
As a signature element, AC Lounge indulges with specialty wines on tap, local craft beers, handcrafted cocktails and selection of tapas-style small bites. The adjacent AC Kitchen presents Continental breakfast of freshly sliced artisanal LaQuercia prosciutto, flaky croissants, egg tarts and Nespresso coffee.
Guests are also privy to complimentary Wi-Fi and Kallpod wireless service buttons that allow for an immediate request of a staff member's attention.
