If you ask travel agents, the five-star Peninsula Beverly Hills is the best of the best when it comes to providing an outstanding guest experience.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of its Fine Hotels & Resorts program, American Express Travel has introduced an awards program designed to showcase the portfolio's best hotel experiences.
The inaugural winners were announced at the annual FHR Forum in New York earlier this month, with the 25 best hotel experiences being selected from a pool of 1,600 nominations. The nominees were voted on by agents, while American Express Travel leadership also provided input.

In addition to the Agents' Choice award, categories included Dream Bathroom, Grandest Hotel Welcome Experience, Hottest Hotel Bar and Most Fun for the Whole Family, among others.
No one hotel won more than one award, however Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton and Waldorf Astoria were each represented multiple times.
