Virginia Woolf once said that “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well.”
Luckily for guests of the all-inclusive Hyatt Zilara Cancun, dining well is a given thanks to six chef-inspired restaurants and gourmet buffets. Whether it’s a sit-down meal, a quick snack at one of the resort’s lounges or even a quiet in-suite meal, the Hyatt Zilara Cancun does not disappoint.
Asiana: Guests with a taste for Teppanyaki cooking will delight in this dining experience, where diners get a ringside view of their dinner being prepared on iron griddles. It’s here that contemporary, gourmet Asian cuisine meets a romantic, sunset location. Sushi and sashimi are served on the restaurant’s upper floor. Dress code for lunch is casual, and smart casual for dinner.
Pelicanos: Whether it’s a romantic dinner by the hotel’s infinity pool with a spectacular Cancun sunset as the backdrop, or a casual breakfast or lunch, Pelicanos provides the freshest Caribbean seafood in an open air, oceanfront setting. Dress code for lunch is casual, and smart casual for dinner.
Maria Marie. Sate your craving for Mexican food with a meal at Maria Marie. This upscale restaurant offers gourmet Mexican cuisine in a fine dining experience, and evokes images of Old World Mexico. Dress is smart casual.
La Adelita Cantina. Typical Mexican hors d’ouevres, tequila and mezcal cocktails, World Heritage cuisine and libations and craft beer. La Adelita Cantina has a little something for everyone.
Spice. The casual environment belies its haute cuisine, carefully prepared by the hotel’s chef. Although menu options change daily, the restaurant’s signature house-made guacamole is always a constant. Choice is the name of the game here, be it pasta, grilled meats or specially prepared seafood. And the ceviche and salad bars are the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
Chef’s Plate. An unforgettable dining experience starts here with an intimate, gourmet seven-course menu that changes daily. The restaurant’s knowledgeable wine sommelier is available to assist with wine pairings, ensuring that each course is perfectly complimented. Reservations are required.
Coffee House. This European-style café is the ideal place to start your day or to recharge after a day of fun. Espresso and cappuccino drinks with a wide variety of delectable pastries, desserts and ice creams are on offer from early morning till the wee hours. Be sure to sample their chocolate-covered strawberries made in-house daily.
