Babymooning With Breezes in the Bahamas
Similar to a honeymoon, a babymoon has become a rite of passage for many first-time parents. And when moms- and dads-to-be are looking to book their last trip before parenthood officially begins, they are looking for a few key things: comfort, relaxation and fun. Comfort is especially important because stressful travel is no way to unwind in the last few days before adulthood really begins. Relaxation is key to the health of both mom and dad, as well as baby. And who wouldn’t enjoy a little freedom and fun without responsibility before the little one arrives?
Parenthood is a beautiful thing, but with it comes some chaos, added responsibility and sometimes some frustrating – and hilarious – moments while new moms and dads adjust and get to know the newest member of the family. So why not get out and enjoy – stay up late, have breakfast in the afternoon, float in the pool – and most importantly, get away from it all.
A tropical beach resort is one of the most ideal destinations for a babymoon – warm weather, large pools, sprawling grounds and white-sand beaches basically all signal the brain to launch into relaxation mode. Thankfully, Breezes Bahamas Resort & Spa has parents covered with its all-inclusive rates, idyllic location and indulgent Babymoon Package.
The Babymoon Package, which can be added on to a reservation for $150, includes a number of extra amenities for parents. Couples receive a room upgrade (upon availability), extra pillows for the mom-to-be, breakfast in bed on one morning of the couples’ choosing, a daily beachfront cabana with waiter service and His & Hers facials at the spa.
Staying in Comfort
Breezes Bahamas Resort & Spa is located on the shores of Cable Beach in Nassau, one of the island’s best. There is also a full-service spa with treatments for an additional cost.
