Each year nearly 900,000 people head to the Canary Islands for what many consider to be the ultimate in hedonistic vacations. Near-perfect weather, spectacular beaches and unparalleled nightlife make it the ideal party scene. But to overlook the region's spectacular natural wonders and opportunities to explore and enjoy nature would be doing this spectacular chain of islands a disservice.

Bahia Principe's three all-inclusive properties serve as an ideal base camp for those looking to discover the islands natural wonders without sacrificing comfort and a bit of pampering.

For those looking to explore the other side to the Canary Islands, Tenerife is an excellent jumping off point. Known for its world heritage sites, visitors to the island will be struck by the juxtaposition of natural wonders and charming villages offering the best of both worlds. Almost 26 species of whales – including baleen whales, killer whales, dolphins, pilot whales and even blue whales – can be found just off the southern coast of Tenerife, for example.
