When you think about an all-inclusive trip to Club Med, you think sun and fun on the beach.
But what you might not know is that Club Med has an all-inclusive family resort in the French Alps, too. Anyone for sun, fun and snow?
Club Med has several resorts located in the beautiful French Alps that guests can choose from, and skiers can enjoy all levels of runs on 372 miles and three Valees ski areas.
At an altitude of 2,000 meters at the foot of the ski runs, the Arcs Extreme is located at the top of the Arcs. Les Deux Alpes sits on the slopes of the Southern French Alps and, at 5,900 feet, guests at the Avoriaz ski resort are transported around by horsedrawn sleighs.
The L’Alpe d’Huez La Sarenne is located at the heart of the former Alpine pastures and Mont-Blanc, the legendary mountains await snow lovers. Aime la Plagne looks out over a ring of mountains and features an interior of stone and wood.
An all-inclusive ski vacation includes ski lift tickets, lessons, kids’ clubs, all-day dining and after-skiing activities, such as use of the pool, hot tub and sauna. Skiers and snowboarders who need to brush up on their skills, or those who are new to the slopes, can take professional lessons with the French ski schools that have partnered with Club Med to provide certified instructors for group and private lessons. Walks, snow shoe walks and Nordic walking are also available for those guests over 12 years old.
The Kid’s Clubs, which are staples at Club Med locations, are available at the French Alps locations too. The Baby, Petit, Mini and Juniors’ Club Med provide parents a break from their responsibilities so they can enjoy the slopes, while the little ones enjoy sports and activities catered to their age. Activities include early-learning games, sledding, walks in the snow and, of course, basic skiing lessons that get them on the slopes.
When the family has finished their time on the slopes, guests can kick back with some much needed rest and revitalization at the spa, heated pools, Turkish baths and one of many Zen areas.
Dining and refreshments are included all day long
In the evening, the Club Med entertainment includes the “Crazy Signs” dance, live entertainment, dancing and drinking.
The French Alps’ Club Med is an ideal vacation spot, whether you are enjoying a winter vacation with your family or want to travel to the French Alps for a couple’s getaway.
