Delray Beach Marriott Celebrates National Dog Day

To commemorate National Dog Day on Aug. 26, Florida’s Delray Beach Marriott is waiving its $75 pet fee for the entire month. “We want all of our travelers to feel welcomed and rejuvenated while they relax with us, even the pooches,” said James Graham, the property’s director of sales and marketing.
The resort has attracted its fair share of dog owners for quite some time. “With an ideal location on Delray Beach, we often do see our guests traveling with their dogs and are among the few-full service hotels in Delray Beach that allows pets,” he said.
In addition to waiving pet fees, the resort will also provide four-legged guests with a check-in amenity and 10 percent discount off the Pooch Patio menu at the nearby Boston’s on the Beach restaurant.
Delray Beach itself offers a fair amount of pet-friendly venues, including the Lake Ida Dog Park and the Delray Green Market in the Park.
One of the Mediterranean-style resort’s strongest selling points is its central location on a pristine stretch of beach. “The Delray Beach Marriott is within walking distance to Atlantic Avenue, where our guests can discover local artisans, live music and pet-friendly restaurants,” said Graham.
The property features 189 guestrooms and 88 suites, which include the luxurious one-, two- and three-bedroom Villas by the Sea. The property also houses three restaurants and a full-service spa.
