Document Your Travels and Earn a Free Hotel Stay with St Giles

St Giles Hotels is set to enter the next phase of its "Be Central, Be St Giles" campaign, one that promises to be an exciting one for a group of lucky travelers.
That's because the company will begin incorporating 360-degree video content in Virtual Reality (VR) streams and is calling on travelers to help do it.
Set to launch this fall, the unique campaign will allow some lucky travelers to spend a free night in a St Giles property in one of the world's premier destinations while they document their experience.
"Our goal with this campaign is to breathe further life into what it means to Be Central, which in itself creates endless possibilities; with the aim to inspire guests to explore and immerse themselves into authentic local experiences," said Abigail Tan, Head of St Giles U.S.A, U.K. and Europe, in a statement. "Our guests inspire us every day, and this campaign enables us to connect with them as well as for them to connect with each other."
"We are thrilled to create this cutting-edge campaign to bring their Be Central experiences into Virtual Reality."
How It Works
Guests who have booked stays at St Giles hotels between June 27 and July 22 or any travelers expecting to be in cities where a St Giles property is located — London, New York, Sydney, Makati, Kuala Lumpur and Penang — can submit an entry through the "St Giles Casting Call" micro-site.
The deadline to submit an entry is June 24.
Those who are chosen will be supplied with a 360-degree video camera that they'll use to document their trip through their destination.
Participants will also benefit from a free night's stay at the nearby St Giles property.
Everyone else will have to wait until the fall for the complete VR experience.
