Santa Claus has chosen Extended Stay America as his official hotel brand this holiday season.
This week, Extended Stay America announced a partnership with The Noerr Programs, best known for providing Santa experiences at hundreds of shopping centers across America.
As part of the partnership, Santa will serve as the brand's holiday Goodwill Ambassador as part of Extended Stay America's "Give Ho-Ho-Hope" campaign. In this role, he will assist in generating awareness to the brand’s Hotel Keys of Hope donation program, which provides free and discounted rooms to cancer patients traveling for potentially lifesaving treatments.
Guests will be able to participate in this program throughout December by leaving their room keys in designated collection boxes located in the hotels' lobbies. For every key left behind, Extended Stay America will donate $1 of hotel room value to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program.
The partnership also includes holiday season travel tips from Santa, who recommends travelers plan their trip ahead of time, separate essentials from desirables when packing and capitalize on hotel loyalty programs.
Additional tips can be found on Extended Stay America's official website.
"We're excited to partner with The Noerr Programs and Santa Claus, to help light up the holiday for travelers," Extended Stay America Chief Marketing Officer Tom Seddon said in a statement. "...As an iconic symbol of kindness and generosity, we believe Santa is perfectly aligned with our brand’s personality and the spirit you’ll find in our associates."
"During the holidays it is easy for travelers to get caught in the frenzy of the season and often times become stressed with balancing it all. Our Extended Stay America family, with a little magical help from Santa, looks to help ease holiday woes through the best way we know how — extending the creature comforts of home so that guests can focus on enjoying time with loved ones and creating lasting memories."
The Noerr Program's CEO Judy Noerr echoed those sentiments in a statement of her own.
"The Noerr Programs is thrilled to work with Extended Stay America, 'Santa's Official Hotel.' As our partner in the Santa Experience, Extended Stay America is helping our merry ambassadors of goodwill create magic, inspire smiles and capture memories for thousands of children and the young at heart across the country."
In addition to contributing to an excellent cause, guests can earn up to 20 percent off a stay of one to 30 nights this season with Extended Stay America's Santa Special.
