Posadas, the leading hotel company in Mexico, has introduced the new Fiesta Americana image. A brand with 35 years of experience in the market, it has the largest number of five star hotels in Mexico with a total of 17 hotels and 4,889 rooms.
The presentation was held along with the reopening of the renovated Fiesta Americana Cozumel All Inclusive and the inauguration of a second branded hotel, The Explorean Cozumel, by Fiesta Americana.
"One of the competitive advantages of Posadas is our continual reinvestment into our brand as well as our willingness to listen to our loyal customers. We researched what travelers want in a superior hospitality brand," said Javier Barrera, the head of Posadas.
"The result is not only the evolution of the image of Fiesta Americana, but the modernization of its concept with the aim of always enhancing the Posadas values," he added.
The first big change is the new Fiesta Americana logo. Only the second logo in 15 years, it is inspired by the Analemma, an infinite figure-8 shape that traces the position of the sun at the same time each day of the year as seen from a single location on earth.
For Posadas, it symbolizes permanent commitment to our guests. "Every hotel with the new logo reflects a new experience," said Barrera.
The modernization of the Fiesta Americana concept offers guests personalized service, and flexible, accessible technology along with the highest hotel standards. Among its major changes, one of the most prominent is the "seamless check-in," in which Posadas evolves the formal reception or front desk, into a fully automated and efficient process. It also includes the Show Kitchen, a new fun dining adventure that guests are invited to enjoy with all their senses. At night it becomes a specialty restaurant, ideal for more formal dinners.
"The transformation of the Fiesta Americana allows us to offer a cutting-edge space that, beyond being a hotel, inspires guests," added Barrera during his presentation.
The rooms and common spaces, such as terraces, have also evolved. The architects who redesigned these spaces are from the firm of Niz + Chauvet. The redesign focused on comfortable furniture, sophisticated style, and the creation of large spaces that allow guests to fully enjoy resting, relaxation, entertainment, or work.
In addition to the resort in Cozumel, the new Fiesta Americana concept will update existing hotels in Oaxaca, in the Toreo Metropolitana in the Valley of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta South, as well as Puebla's Fiesta Americana Grand and Acapulco Diamante.
Similarly, Posadas begins the conversion of all existing hotels to date, which include the iconic Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, Fiesta Americana Guadalajara, Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo, Fiesta Americana San Antonio Hacienda Bridge, Fiesta Americana Hermosillo, Fiesta Americana Merida, Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta, and Fiesta Americana Reforma. These renovations are expected to be complete in 2016.
