Five Ways to Use Your Palace Resort Credit

Rarely does a person need any extra incentive to spend up to eight nights at an all-inclusive luxury resort but Palace Resorts is doing just that.

Guests staying between five and eight nights can earn a $1,500 resort credit that can be used to pamper themselves a little bit more with spa services, golf, tours and more. Wondering just how far $1,500 goes? Here are five suggestions:

Tours and excursions. Depending on the property, guests of Palace Resorts have a gamut of activities by which to be tempted. Tours of Chichen Itza and Isla Mujeres are an excellent way to see more of the region while immersing oneself in local culture. Take the plunge with your family at Wet'n'Wild, the only water park in Cancun and Riviera Maya, covering 18 acres and serving up 800 feet of white sand beach. Want a one-of-a-kind experience? Why not swim with the dolphins? The Ultimate Dolphin Swim Experience is a special way of interacting with the dolphins and gives guest the opportunity to get in the water with a dolphin and perform various activities such as the dorsal tow or famous kiss.

Golf. The Moon Spa & Golf Club is home to one of the only two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in Cancun. Players can enjoy 27 holes of Dunes & Jungle, Jungle & Lakes, and Lakes & Dunes. Use resort credits to pay for rounds of golf, or if so inclined, forfeit the entire credit for unlimited golf.  Included are early fees, green fees, twilight fees, and junior fees. Resort credits can also be used towards lessons at the Moon Palace Golf Academy in Mexico, where players, under the guidance of certified instructors, can use integrated state-of-the-art technology to learn the techniques of the game.

Weddings. Thinking of tying the knot? Renewing your vows? Why not use your resort credit? Credits apply to wedding collections valued at $3,000 or more. And in case a dream wedding isn't enough, the entire wedding party may be eligible to receive up to $1,500 resort credit to use on spa services, tours, romantic dinners and more.

Dining. Spoil yourself with the Chef's dinner or a romantic dinner for two at some of Palace Resorts finest restaurants, which offer fresh, local ingredients presented in cuisines such as  American, Mexican, Italian, Pan-Asian and more.

Spa and wellness treatments. What could be more indulgent than spending your resort credit on spa services? From hydrating body wraps to herbal steam rooms, plunge pools and hydrotherapy, relaxation is the name of the game. Rejuvenate your skin with a variety of facials, including the Vitamin C treatment designed to eliminate skin damage caused by sun and pollution. Headed to the links? It's only fitting one would try the Quiro golf massage, a deep massage meant to reduce muscle tension with a zone-by-zone technique with golf balls to improve flexibility. Follow suit with an aromatherapeutic massage or the Kukulcan Mayan massage which traces ancient Mayan traditions to balance and restore the physical and spiritual strengths within one's internal cosmos.

Credits are valid on trip purchased through Sept. 30 and for travel Aug. 16 through Dec. 23. Best part? The longer you stay, the more credit you earn. What's keeping you?
