Get Your Latin Music Fix at Oasis Hotels and Resorts

Put on your dancing shoes, because it’s time to move to the ElectrOASIS Latin Beat Fest 2016 at the Grand Oasis Cancun, a part of the Oasis Hotels and Resorts.

Five mega-stars make their appearances in July and August as part of the fest. Juan Magán kicks off the summer Latin performances on July 9. The three-time Grammy nominee is a singer, record producer remixer, DJ, composer and lyricist. In 2008, along with Marcos Rodriguez, he produced the album Suave, which included "Bora Bora," a Top 20 hit on the Spanish singles chart. He had a Top Five hit with "Verano Azul." Magan is also known as the creator of the musical genre known as "ElectroLatino".

One week later, taking the stage on July 17, is Tito El Bambino, who rose to fame as Tito in the duo Héctor & Tito and has received awards from the Latin Grammys, Billboard Latin Music, Premios Lo Nuestro awards as well as the Alma Awards and ASCAP. In 2010 his song, "El Amor," written with Joan Ortiz Espada, was awarded Latin Song of the Year by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). His first solo album, Top of the Line reached No. 1 in Puerto-Rico Tito.  He was named Songwriter of the Year at the 19th Annual ASCAP Latin Music Awards.

Puerto Rican singer J Alvarez released his debut album six years ago, in 2010, and last year he released De Camino Pa' La Cima, his third album which would debut at No. 2 in its second week on Top Latin Albums. According to Billboard magazine, Alvarez was passionate about hip-hop at an early age and his solo debut, in 2011, included the hit singles "La Pregunta" and "Junto al Amanecer."

Finishing out the month on July 30 is Alexis Y Fido, bringing their Latin Grammy nominated music to Grand Oasis Cancun. They founded Wild Dogz Music and their debut album, The Pitbulls, debuted at the second spot on Billboard's Top Heatseekers and the Latin Rhythm charts and at took over the top spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. Their second album was "Sobrenatural," and they appeared in Feel the Noise, produced by Jennifer Lopez.

At the beginning of August, another duo, Angel Y Khriz will finish out the festivities bringing their reggaeton sounds and high-impact performances. In 2005, their debut studio album, which went Platinum, included Los MVP was released and featured "Ven Baílalo" and "De Cazeria." Their songs are also featured on Grand Theft Auto IV radio station San Juan Sounds and later in the "GTA: Episodes From Liberty City" and in the "Fast and Furious 4" movie and soundtrack. The Grand Oasis Cancun has 1,234 rooms, 18 restaurants and 18 bars, both indoors and outdoors.
