Go Truffle Hunting in Tuscany On a Luxury Foodie Adventure

It’s a culinary trip of a lifetime!
Borgo Santo Pietro, a five-star boutique villa in Tuscany, is offering two and three-night packages this fall that include an exclusive truffle hunting excursion and a cooking lesson from a Michelin Star chef.
Truffles are considered one of the most prized and treasured ingredients used only by top chefs, and have become a fad in culinary circles over the years, spawning subpar knockoffs that don’t come close to matching the original.
Very few get to experience the real thing, and even fewer see the process from start to finish.
The trip starts with a two or three-night stay and a bottle of prosecco waiting in your room upon arrival. From there, professional truffle-hunting guides and their dogs will guide guests through the nearby fields and private forests before a truffle-centric lunch and the cooking class at the on-site Borgo Cooking School. The event concludes with a wine-tasting and virtual tour of the city in the property’s 13th-century wine cellar.
For people who appreciate cooking or fine dining in anyway, it’s a can’t-miss journey that just keeps getting better and better.
Packages run from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 and start around $2,100.
