When it comes time to pack it up and get away from it all, there are as many options as there are vacationers.
Some prefer to lose themselves in the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan cities, where they can soak up the arts, shop to their wallet’s breaking point, and savor gourmet flavors at every meal. There are those, however, that also love doing these things but prefer to truly get away from it all.
For those travelers, there is the all-inclusive Grand Oasis Tulum.
Located in the heart of the Riviera Maya just a few minutes away from the Tulum archeological site and Akumal, it is an oasis of tranquility that affords its guests the chance to relax in a laid-back, yet decidedly upscale environment.
Chilling Out, Sleeping In. With 275 rooms spread across two categories of rooms — the Grand and the Sian Ka’an — guests would be hard-pressed to make a wrong choice. Each comes equipped with flat screen TVs, iPod docking station, and other high-end amenities that guests have come to expect and are tastefully appointed in warm earth tones that harmonize with the resort’s natural setting. Those staying the Grand Plus, however, also receive private check-in/check-out, up to 20 percent off select services at the Sensoria Spa and a day of free rental of the Oasis Smart car for stays four nights or longer. When not enjoying the ocean view from the comfort of their Jacuzzi, guests staying in the luxury Sian Ka’an rooms are able to take advantage of the resort’s rental cars at no charge throughout the duration of their stay.
Relaxed Gourmet. Relaxed Gourmet might not be an official dining category, but guests of the Grand Oasis Tulum know better. Here, set against the backdrop of stunning ocean views, guests have their choice of such cuisine in 12 restaurants. Choose from gourmet Mexican (Sarape), Mexican-Japanese fusion, sushi (Akeru Asia), Italian (Dos Lunas), Mediterranean (Al Sur and Café del Mar), seafood (Careyes Terraza) and steak (Arrecifes), as well as burgers, BBQ and more. And when it’s time to unwind and plan the next day’s adventures, guest can relax and enjoy a cocktail at the Martini Piano Bar or the Sarape Bar or any one of four outdoor bars.
Activities. When not soaking up the resort’s natural surroundings, there is much to do and experience. Tennis lovers will want to take advantage of the resorts’ two courts and complimentary tennis equipment. Water lovers will not want to miss the five pools (with kids areas) and the option to go deep-sea fishing and scuba diving (additional fees apply). Guests can also stay fit thanks to an on-site, state-of-the-art gym, offering classes on Zumba, yoga, and aerobics. And parents will sing the praises of the Kids Club, where the younger set can enjoy activities designed just for them while their parents take some much-needed down time at the Sensoria Spa or relaxing with a tasty drink by the sea.
