Hilton Enters Global Partnership with Japan's ANA Airline

Thanks to a partnership between Hilton Worldwide and Japan's biggest airline, ANA passengers are now being offered a new lounge and in-flight experience.

Announced today, the Hilton X ANA “Experience More” global partnership, which will last until 2017, will kick off with a Hawaiian focus. The initial phase of the alliance will run between June 1 and Aug. 31, 2015, and will be offered to Japanese and international travelers who travel through the ANA Haneda or Narita lounges or fly from Tokyo to Honolulu.

At the lounges, passengers will be treated to authentic menu offerings created by chefs at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. A Hawaii destination video will also play on the TV screens in the lounges.

On all ANA flights between Tokyo and Honolulu, passengers will also be served Hawaiian-inspired cuisine designed by chefs at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, while enjoying a 30-minute Hawaii destination video.

Travelers may also take a copy of a mini guidebook, specific to the partnership, which features recommendations for sightseeing and food in Hawaii, as well as an introduction to Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

Hawaii was selected as the first destination for the program because it is a popular holiday hotspot for Japanese travelers. The initial phase of the partnership also sits within Hawaii’s peak summer season travel period.

The partnership between Hilton and ANA delivers enhanced experiences for travelers on the ground and in flight by providing touches of Hilton and ANA hospitality every step of the way."

"Hawaii is a favorite destination for Japanese travelers, and our customers always look forward to their leisure trips, even before they board their flights,” added Toshitaka Watanabe, senior vice president of CS & Products Services at ANA. “Last December, we enhanced service offerings on our Honolulu routes, and in July of this year we will be adding another flight between Narita and Honolulu. Our partnership with Hilton elevates the excitement for our customers, and we hope our partnership will leave an impression to last until the next time they book a flight to Hawaii with us again.”

From May 1 to Aug. 31, travelers can also earn double ANA Mileage Club miles with Hilton Honors at any participating Hilton hotel or resort. Triple miles are being offered in Japan and Hawaii.
