Conrad Hotels & Resorts will unveil its first hotel in Mexico next year, with the opening of a 135-room luxury property in the colonial city of San Luis Potosi.
“Hilton Worldwide is focused on growth throughout Latin America, and Mexico is at the core of this strategy,” said Tom Potter, senior vice president, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America for Hilton Worldwide. “With more than 30 existing hotels in Mexico and approximately 30 projects in our development plans, the signing of Conrad San Luis Potosi and introduction of a new Hilton Worldwide brand further solidifies our efforts in this dynamic country.”
The 135-room Conrad San Luis Potosi will be Hilton Worldwide’s second property in the city. In April, Hilton Hotels & Resorts debuted 123-room Hilton San Luis Potosi. The Conrad’s rooms will be equipped with the brand’s signature amenities and feature large bathrooms. The property will house a signature restaurant and bar, a fourth-floor outdoor pool and fitness center, and 10,000 feet of meetings space.
The nine-story property will be centrally located and in close proximity to the city’s convention center.
