A new Holiday Inn property opened in the Times Square area of New York.

The new Holiday Inn New York City, owned by M&R Hotel Management, is opening at 585 Eighth Ave. between 38th and 39th streets in Manhattan.

The 35-story, 271-room property is three short north-south blocks from 42nd Street and then one long east-west block from 42nd and Seventh Avenue, the legendary heart of the Times Square area.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which sits between 40th and 42nd streets on Eighth Avenue.

It’s a few blocks north of Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, at 34th and Eighth Avenue. A few blocks west of the new hotel is the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Broadway theater district is just north of the hotel, from around 40th Street and extending several blocks up Broadway and Eighth Avenue.

The new Holiday Inn will be fully equipped to cater to both business and leisure travel, with complementary Internet throughout the hotel, plus 24-hour business and fitness centers.

The hotel will feature a Rattle N Hum West Craft Beer Bar & Kitchen in the hotel for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, late night snacks and room service.
