Universal Orlando Resort will feature the first Jack LaLanne-branded fitness center at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which is scheduled to open on March 31.
The Jack LaLanne Fitness Center is designed to complement the Cabana Bay Beach Resort's retro theme. The fitness center will also pay homage to LaLanne, a fitness pioneer whose Jack LaLanne Show aired during the '50s, '60s and '70s.
"When you think of fitness during these iconic decades, Jack LaLanne just resonates in our minds," said Russ Dagon, vice president and executive project director of Universal Creative. "This partnership with the LaLanne family will complement the new property wonderfully, and we're delighted that his name will live on here at Cabana Bay Beach Resort."
The property will also come equipped with a 10-lane bowling alley, two zero-entry pools, a dive tower water slide and Universal Orlando's first lazy river with waterfalls and cannons. The resort will also include themed restaurants, bars and a coffee shop.
Vacation Express Offers Air Credits at All Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels
Vacation Express introduced $250 air credits for travelers who book minimum five-night air inclusive stays at All Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels.
Participating properties include Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Hard Rock Hotel Cancun or Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya from Vacation Express.
To qualify, stays must be booked by April 5 for travel through Dec. 23.
Iberotar Offers Kids Stay Free Deal in Mexico, Caribbean
Iberotar Hotels & Resorts unveiled a kids stay free promotion when two adults pay full price.
Two children can stay free. The promotion is valid when booked from Feb. 28, through April 30 and is valid for travel from May 1 to Dec. 23, 2014.
Blackout dates apply. The offer is combinable with other promotions. It is valid for U.S. residents.
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Set Dates for Food & Wine Classic
The fifth annual Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will take place on Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, featuring celebrity chef Todd English.
The festival at the Orlando property will include food and beverage seminars, food and wine tastings and live music.
English will meet and greet with guests. His bluezoo restaurant, which specializes in seafood, is located in the hotel and features fresh seafood in a vibrant atmosphere.
Tickets to the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic are available as part of a hotel package or individually.
Starwood to Open Aloft Hotel in Secaucus, N.J.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts will open the 172-room Aloft Secaucus in mid-2016 within the Plaza at Harmon Meadow mixed-use complex, located six miles from Manhattan.
The eight-story property is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and businesses including the Meadowlands Exposition Center and the Mall at Mill Creek.
The Aloft is also in close proximity to the Meadowlands Entertainment Complex, which houses MetLife Stadium, home of the NY Jets and NY Giants Professional football teams and the IZOD Center.
