There is a dizzying array of hotel rewards programs being offered, each with a laundry list of perks and policies. But which one is the best? We reveal the frontrunners as per CardHub’s 2015 Hotel Rewards Study. Click here to find out who took the top spot.      

Paris has taken an economic hit after November’s terrorist attacks. Hotel bookings are down and while business travel has more or less stayed the same, leisure/family travel has dipped. Accommodation owners are optimistic, though, that bookings will pick up again in the new year. Click for further insights into this tourism downturn.

Robert DeNiro may be renowned for his skills as an actor, but as an hotelier … not so much. DeNiro is part owner of Nobu Hotel Manila, an accommodation that was just voted “worst luxury hotel opening of 2015” by Luxury Travel Intelligence. Specifics of this apparent folly are not known at this time, other than such criticisms as "disappointments at every turn" and "underwhelmed and disenchanted." Click for details.

Team-building exercises are a perennial way for companies to build camaraderie among employees. To that end, there are hotels that are conducting such events that go far beyond “fall backwards and I’ll catch you.” Go karts anyone?

Sheraton is providing a bright spot to those bogged down in the morass of holiday travel with the “Delight My Delay” campaign.
