Hyatt House to Debut in New Orleans This Fall

Hyatt Hotels plans to debut a Hyatt House in New Orleans this fall. The extended-stay property will cater to the city’s growing BioDistrict, which is fostering bioscience research and development.
“In addition to the city’s popularity in the tourism industry, New Orleans’ advancing medical district is bringing exciting new developments to the local market,” said Jane Tebbe Shute, general manager of Hyatt House New Orleans/Downtown. “We are excited to introduce those visiting New Orleans to the unique guest experience offered by the Hyatt House brand.”
The property, which will occupy seven floors of a 14-story building on Poydras Street and Loyola Avenue, will feature a sky bridge that connects it to the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
Its 194 units, all which include complimentary Wi-Fi, will include what Hyatt House refers to as “den guestrooms,” studios and one-bedroom kitchen suites.
The Hyatt House will feature the brand’s H Bar, including cocktails, wine and spirits a menu with focus on comfort food; complimentary hot breakfast; a guest market; workout room; laundry facilities; and meetings space that can accommodate up to 60 people.
Guests staying at the property for more than 30 days can take advantage of the Hyatt House’s Very Important Resident program, whose perks include complimentary grocery shopping.
