Located only five miles away from Heathrow Airport, the Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes hotel opened its doors just a week ago, marking the brand’s first location in the United Kingdom.
There are currently more than 240 Hyatt Place locations in the world, with three hotels in Europe – the Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport and the Hyatt Place Jermuk and Hyatt Place Yerevan, both in Armenia.
The hotel’s close proximity to the airport’s Heathrow Express, a rail link between London Heathrow Airport and Paddington, makes it convenient for visitors who still want to tour a little bit of Central London during their stay.
“With an innovative service concept and modern design, combined with its impressive worldwide growth over the last several years, we believe Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes will exceed guest expectations and provide them with everything they need while visiting or passing through London,” Peter Fulton, group president – Europe, Africa, and Middle East, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, said in a statement.
Those amenities in the 170 guestrooms include a choice of standard rooms, or High Floor rooms that are located on the 8th, 9th or 10th floors. These accommodations come with floor-to-ceiling windows, so travelers can enjoy spectacular views of Greater London. There are also spacious 452-square-foot suites that come with a bath, separate bedroom and living area, including one king Hyatt Grand Bed and the Cozy Corner sleeper. The units also come equipped with a media and work center, a 42" flat-panel HDTV and comfortable Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. The hotel is also completely accessible for those guests with special needs.
To curb hunger pangs at any time of the day, The Gallery Café serves an à la carte menu all day long, while the Gallery Market offers grab ‘n go items such as snacks and sandwiches. Guests can also enjoy the Gallery Market Morning Boost, a free breakfast for guests that includes baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee. Speaking of coffee, the Coffee to Cocktails Bar features specialty coffees and premium beers, as well as wines and cocktails.
When it comes to the Hyatt Place, it’s all about location, location, location and with its close proximity to the airport, the Hotel becomes a prime meeting space. The hotel offers more than 2,066 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space and free public computers with Internet access with remote printing throughout the hotel. In between business meetings and hopefully some sightseeing, visitors can also tend to their fitness with the hotel’s 24-hour gym, featuring fully stocked exercise equipment.
The location also makes the hotel family-friendly as the Westfield Shopping Centre and Legoland at Windsor Resort are both only a short drive away. Sports fans will also love the hotel’s destination for its short 10-mile drive to Wembley Stadium, which hosts many major football matches and tournaments in London, including the FA Cup and UEFA league.
