JDB Fine Hotels & Resorts, an unsurpassed collection of luxury, boutique properties spanning the cities, coasts and countryside of Europe, reports strong sales for the summer season and has announced the addition of 14 member hotels, including three brand new properties in Italy debuting to guests this month. The expanded collection, which now includes 70 boutique properties in Italy and France and represents a 25 percent increase, is timed with the most recent American Express Spending & Saving Tracker, which reports that 60 percent of consumers traveling this summer are seeking alternative accommodations beyond traditional hotels and resorts.
“Our continued expansion demonstrates JDB’s commitment to travel agents, developing opportunities to satisfy trends we know are relevant in the marketplace and the resources necessary for agents to deliver and exceed client expectations,” says Brian Froelich, chairman of JDB Fine Hotels & Resorts.
According to Froelich, the additions to the collection – which span from Milan to Rome to Sicily and beyond – are scrupulously researched and reviewed to confirm they meet JDB’s standards. “This ensures that guests will be ‘welcomed’ in member hotels as VIPs, so that agents may book with confidence.”
New hotels will offer exclusive amenities – from room upgrades and spa treatments to dining experiences and luxury airport transfers – customary with stays at all JDB Fine Hotel & Resorts’ properties. Among the recent additions, include:
