JW Marriott Ihilani Resort Debuts

The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina has debuted “Fia Fia,” a luau and show that takes guests on a journey through the South Pacific and Hawaii with demonstrations of music and dance. Held at the resort’s ocean front lagoon lawn every Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m., the show includes a shell lei greeting and guest photos with the cast. Guests can learn a Hawaiian crafts, such as fire-making, and view the unearthing of a full pig. The two-hour “Fia Fia” show features cultural performances from Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji and Hawaii. The highlight is the fire knife dance finale starring the chef and his assistants. Tickets are $90 general and $45 for children ages 3 to 11, including self-parking validation.
