The Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, the fourth property in the Margaritaville hotel brand, is now open for business.
Although some of the resort's facilities are not yet in full swing, details on the Florida property's grand opening are expected to be unveiled within the next few weeks.
The 349-room resort, which is located on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, is believed by many to be the crowning jewel of the Margaritaville brand, which is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett.
The 17-story property features several pools, a FlowRider Double and a number of food and beverage outlets, including the License to Chill Bar and the 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. The hotel also boasts a full-service spa and 3,000 square feet of meeting space.
"Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort brings an entirely new concept to South Florida, with our 'no worries' tropical vibe and the feeling of escapism that is experienced immediately upon arrival," said Cate Farmer, the resort's general manager.
The first Margaritaville debuted in 2010 with the opening of the Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Pensacola, Fla. The Margaritaville Resort Casino debuted in Bossier, La., in 2013, and the Margaritaville Island Hotel opened in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., in 2014.
