Marriott Rewards Launches Airline Promotion in Time for Summer Travel

Marriott Rewards members looking to save on airfare this summer will have several options when doing so thanks to the program's recently launched airline promotion.
Now through July 15, members of Marriott International's loyalty program who register for the promotion can earn 1,000 bonus miles per hotel stay that they can put toward their loyalty program memberships with Marriott's partner airlines, including United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines.
How it Works
Marriott Rewards members can click here to register and can then select their preferred airline before booking their eligible hotel stays between now and July 15.
The stays must occur between now and Aug. 31 to qualify.
What's more, the offer is valid only for stays at select full-service Marriott hotels in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. Participating brands include Marriott Hotels, JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, Gaylord Hotels and Delta Hotels.
Members who select Southwest as their airline will receive Rapid Rewards points rather than miles.
The Latest of Many Benefits
Marriott Rewards' biggest airline promotion of the year comes on the heels of the program's launch of its Summer Bonus promotion, which will allow registered members to earn up to 10,000 bonus points on qualifying stays all summer long.
In addition to discounted room rates, members who book through a direct channel — including Marriott.com, the company's app, its call centers and approved corporate travel professionals — will have access to free Wi-Fi, guaranteed late check-out in some cases, concierge service and the program's new experiences marketplace.
