One of the U.S.'s premier entertainment, gaming, dining and shopping destinations, the Mohegan Sun - which also boasts a 1,200-room luxury hotel - is bringing its entertaining experience to New York's Westchester Mall this winter by way of a unique interactive dome display.
Beginning Dec. 29, mall-goers will be able to explore the teleportation dome.
"Through an immersive experience that features an innovative design and technology elements, this larger-than-life dome installation will transport guests to Mohegan Sun without leaving New York," the Connecticut-based destination said in a news release. "As guests step inside, they will be thrust into an immersive video experience that will treat visitors to a kaleidoscope of visuals that capture the very essence of Mohegan Sun's nearby getaway experience."
In addition to the dome, the setup will include a lounge where mall visitors can relax and pick up more information on the Mohegan Sun.
Visitors will also have a chance to win prizes, with one lucky winner taking home a grand prize trip to the Mohegan Sun. The grand prize includes deluxe room accommodations for two nights, dinner for two up to $250, complimentary limo transportation and a pair of tickets to an Arena show.
Meanwhile free overnight deluxe room stays will be awarded daily.
The Mohegan Sun said the dome "will appeal to everyone from gamers to foodies, and general audiences alike."
"The eye-catching installation will live for several days to generate conversations surrounding the destination in order to inspire guests to visit the property."
The dome will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time Monday through January 11, 2016.
The Westchester is located in White Plains, New York, roughly an hour north of New York City.
