Chef Rafael Piqueras recently opened a new bar adjacent to his well known restaurant at the Westin Lima in San Isidro, Peru. El Salar is not just about drinks and nightlife. It is about homestyle lunch options and innovative tapas in the evening.
El Salar is at the crossroads between the kitchen and the bar. It is the place where day turns into night, where informal lunches far from the rules and regulations of the office are the norm and the continuously changing menu is filled with simple but delicious food.
El Salar is a warm and inviting bar, different from many others because its menu changes on a daily basis. Here, you can let your imagination run wild and try new foods and discover new tastes. It is where flavors and friends can intertwine and where each of your senses can be stimulated.
This is a different type of bar that offers something incredibly unique. During the day, for lunch, El Salar offers apertifs and wines. As day turns to night, the music comes on and visitors can enjoy cocktails and sit in groups with friends.
El Salar encourages its guests to come out at night and try its long list of hors d'oeuvres and appetizers as well as its new cocktail menu that features both signature drinks and familiar cocktails.
