The special net rates are Beach Pool Villas for $516; Ocean Pool Villas for $726; and two-bedroom Beach Pool Villas for $898. All rates include a 10 percent service and 12 percent GST.
For guests who stay for a minimum of four nights, the rates will include daily breakfast, three excursions to scenic island locations, a $100 credit per person towards activities at the dive and activity center, and a 20-minute Navasana Spa experience for each guest.
For honeymooners, the resort is offering value-added complementary features in addition to the above rates: a bath ritual with candles and rose petals, one in-villa breakfast per stay, a bottle of sparkling wine, romantic bed decoration, and 15 percent off one a la carte Navasana Spa treatment during the stay. To qualify, couples need to confirm their marriage was in the six months prior to check-in. The honeymooner’s value-added offer is available until further notice.
The resort is located in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, about 200 miles south of the international gateway island of Malé. The Outrigger is accessible via a 55-minute flight to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by a 30-minute luxury speedboat journey. Check-in takes place aboard the boat. Round-trip transfers between Male and the hotel (domestic flight and boat) are priced at $490 per adult, $245 per child (2 to 12 years), and free for children under two years old who don’t require a separate seat. Transfer charges are inclusive of taxes. The domestic flight and sea transfer is compulsory and is arranged by Outrigger.
The world of Outrigger continues to expand into new frontiers. Outrigger hoisted its first flag out of Hawaii in 1994 when it opened in Guam, since then the company has made the Asia Pacific region its main arena for growth. Outrigger operates and/or has under development 43 properties with approximately 10,000 rooms located in Hawaii; Australia; Guam; Fiji; Thailand; Mauritius, Maldives, Vietnam; and Hainan Island, China. Nearly 60 percent of Outrigger’s guests come from North America.
