In a clear illustration of it ongoing commitment to offer its guests a substantive array of entertainment options, Oasis Hotels & Resorts has reprised the Oasis Cancun’s summer music festival series for the fourth year running.
The series kicked off on May 14 with the Oasis Jazz U Festival, which runs through May 23. The Ultra Electro Latin Beat Summer Electronic Music Festival series will run every weekend from May 26 to July 26, and the Country Music Festival from June 24 to 28.
“In just four years, our music festivals have become tremendously popular because we aim to entertain our guests while at the same time incorporating local culture,” said Enrique Klein, vice president of sales & marketing at Oasis Hotels & Resorts. “Guests enjoy watching the more established acts just as much as they love when we introduce them to groundbreaking artists they may have never heard of back home.”
A highlight of the jazz festival will be the May 22 performance by Eddie Palmieri, who is widely known as one of the world’s premier Latin Jazz pianists.
The Ultra Electro Latin Beat Summer Electronic Music Festival will include performances by such reggaeton duos as Zion & Lennox and Jowel & Randy; Panamanian producer and artist Chombo; and Syphe, who has toured with Pitbull. An array of local Cancun artists and DJs will also be performing during the festival.
Headliners for the five-day Country Music Festival include singer/song writer Matt Jordan; 2015 American Idol contestant Riley Bria; and Steel Blossom, a female country/folk band.
“For those five days, from morning to night, there is a performance happening at any given venue within the resort,” said Klein. “In this day and age, people are always looking for the next best thing in entertainment, and some of our guests have discovered their new favorite artists here with us.”
Oasis’ entertainment options extend well beyond the annual summer music series. Guests will also be regularly entertained by clowns, acrobats, rollerbladers and a beach club DJ.
“Every year Oasis Hotels & Resorts strives to raise the bar as an all-inclusive, excitement-driven property,” said Klein. “We designed the property to cater specifically to guests of all ages who enjoy the convenience of an all-inclusive resort but also seek one-of-a-kind travel experiences and world-class entertainment.”
Oasis has also hosted an array of well-known recording artists, including Kool & the Gang, Janelle Monàe and Melanie Fiona throughout the years.
In other developments, Oasis Hotels & Resorts upped the ante on its luxury offerings with the debut of The Pyramid at Grand Oasis, a high-end retreat within the confines of the resort complex housing Oasis Cancun and Grand Oasis Cancun.
Oasis Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of resorts includes eight properties comprising 4,000 guestrooms and suites in Cancun and Tulum.
