There are cruise ships and then there are actual floating hotels.
Situated on the Seine, the newly-opened OFF Paris Seine hotel is the first floating hotel in the French capital and — considering a stay won't break the bank — should be added to any travel bucket list.
The hotel, which opened June 23, boasts 54 guestrooms and four suites that cost anywhere between $175 and $492 per night.
Inside, the hotel's guests will find a simple design highlighted by modern decor and bright colors. Nowhere is the color brighter than in the hotel's Sunset Suite, which is completely orange so that it reflects the sunlight off of the Seine.
Outdoor highlights include a plunge pool, a bar serving up cocktails and tapas and a sundeck area. The best part about each amenity is that they feature a panoramic view of the river.
The hotel also features an interior path and a marina.

But while the hotel is sure to attract plenty of overnight visitors, it's likely to appeal to passers-by as well.
After all, there's plenty to experience outside of the guestrooms and music plays at the hotel throughout the day.
"The playlist designed by Tune my Tape evolves during the day to liven up the evenings, setting the tempo for the bartenders' shakers and the more energetic conversations of guests," OFF's website states. "For the most adventurous, the playlist steps up the pace from 10 PM with a bolder selection of house, disco, hip hop and electro music."
The combination of panoramic views, bar offerings and atmosphere is sure to make OFF Paris Seine not only one of Paris' most unique hotels, but one of its top new attractions.
