At Palladium Hotels & Resorts, it's all about striking a balance between intimacy and choice. "With some of our resorts spanning over 173 acres, Palladium Hotels & Resorts offers guests plenty to see, do and experience, all while creating a sense of intimacy by separating our resorts into different hotels," said Lanie Rosa, marketing director Americas for Palladium Hotel Group, of which Palladium Hotels & Resorts is a unit.
The Palladium Hotels & Resorts portfolio also include the adults-only Royal Suites by Palladium, which Rosa said are ideal for bachelor and bachelorette parties and romantic couples' getaways.
Since the fall of last year, the company has been polishing its properties in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico by enhancing themed dining and entertaining, and revamping suites, bars, restaurants and pools. "We look to continue expanding our offerings based on our guests' needs and wants," said Rosa.
In Montego Bay, junior suites, one-bedroom suites and honeymoon villa suites at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa are being renovated with modern décor and furnishings. The Las Brisas and Sunset Cove beaches are the recipients of facelifts, as are the Bhogali and Lotus House restaurants. The resort is part of a complex that also includes the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa. "The most notable feature of the hotel complex is its setting offers spectacular sunset views and boasts the largest pool on the island," Rosa said.
In Punta Cana, the Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino's loft suites are being renovated and expanded to meet the needs of families. The resort's outdoor terraces on the ground floor are being enlarged to accommodate private Jacuzzis. Other enhancements to the property will include the addition of a lobby bar and entertainment stage.
Other Punta Cana resorts within the Punta Cana complex include Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa, Casino, Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa and The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium.
"The complex is notable for its really long stretch of beach - Bavaro Beach - which is blue-flag certified, meaning the resort has met high standards required for the certification," said Rosi. "The complex also has a casino that anyone can access, and it has the largest kids club in the Caribbean."
Palladium's Riviera Maya properties include Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa and The Royal Suites Yucatán by Palladium. "It's a large resort complex with many options and ideally located near Playa del Carmen and other nearby attractions," says Rosa. "The entire complex is well integrated with its natural surroundings and provides free surfboards and surfing lessons for guests."
Its Riviera Nayarit resorts include the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa and The Royal Suites Punta de Mita by Palladium. "The properties are most notable for their scenic and private Banderas Bay locations," says Rosa.
The resorts themselves appeal to a diverse set of guests. "Palladium Hotels & Resorts attract a wide spectrum of guests, including families looking for spacious rooms and activities suited for a multi-generational vacation, guests looking to stay active while on vacation, but who still appreciate scenic pools and beaches for well-deserved rest, as well as brides and grooms interested in destination weddings and honeymoons," said Rosa.
Each resort features Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness facilities, with each property offering its own specialty treatments and massages.
All Grand Palladium Resorts have tiered kids clubs broken into baby, mini and junior categories with a full roster of programming designed to blend fun with education. "We introduced a must-see Play at Palladium with the Raggs program, which is exclusive to Palladium Hotels & Resorts," said Rosa, adding that Palladium's Punta Cana resort features the largest kids club in the Caribbean.

Simple Stunning Wedding packages that customizable, decorative and elegant, said Rosa.
In the final analysis, Rosa attributes much of Palladium's success to its travel agent partners. In a show of support, Palladium Hotel Group unveiled Palladium Connect, which includes a booking portal and partnership program designed to help travel advisors more effectively sell the company's brands while rewarding them at the same time.
"Ultimately, travel agents have played an integral role in helping us build our business, which is why Palladium strives to be the preferred brand for travel agents looking to satisfy customers with desirable inventory and unforgettable experiences," said Rosa.
