Having an island wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime dream come true, but if you don't actually live on the island how can you make all of the arrangements?
Playa Hotels & Resorts has created a Big Day Preview program to allow up to two guests ample time to check out their venue before they say 'I Do.' Couples can book a two-night/three day visit to one of five Playa Resorts, meet with an onsite specialist to discuss their intimate wedding details and get to know the property.
Playa Resorts' portfolio consists of a collection of 14 premier hotels comprising 6,142-rooms that are located in prime beach locations in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

For wedding destinations, Playa Resorts has several options that the happy couple can choose from -- Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva, Gran Caribe, Gran Porto and THE Royal offer venues in beachfront locations in Montego Bay, Jamaica and in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen in Mexico.
Hyatt Zilara is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the white sands of Cancun where, during their stay, couples can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach, a massage on the clear-blue sea and a tequila tasting. Hyatt Ziva Cancun is an all-inclusive and all-ages oasis on the Mexico's Yucatan coast with three infinity pools, an adults-only rooftop pool and two white sand beaches.
THE Royal is an all-inclusive Mediterranean-style adult resort situated on the Riviera Maya just steps from Playa del Carmen's famous Fifth Avenue. It offers luxury suites with ocean view balconies or terraces, double jet whirlpool tubs, plus special options such as swim-up suites and beachfront walkouts, as well as your own butler. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities during their stay, including tennis, multiple swimming pools, and shopping and nightlife. Gran Porto is located on the sandy Playa del Carmen beach, and the Gran Caribe is set on the Caribbean coast.
But this vacation is all about setting up a dream wedding for two and Playa Resorts has created a variety of wedding packages where couples can choose to exchange vows in a gazebo, chapel, garden or directly on the beach. A few decisions need to be made on the couple's colors, style, food, music, and more as well as the details for the celebration following the ceremony. For example, in Jamaica you can choose from a live Mexican trio or steel drums.
Once the couple has had a chance to choose a wedding venue, they will receive a $500 credit when they book their event. After the couple has exchanged rings and celebrated their wedding, Playa Resorts also has honeymoon packages as well as other romantic packages where couples can celebrate their love all year round with beautiful ocean views and suite service breakfast in bed.
