Reimagining Jamaica As A Destination

Jamaica has beautiful white sandy beaches, such as Seven Miles Beach and Cosmos Beach, tropical weather, delicious food, and a wide variety of fun activities and entertainment.
It’s exactly what makes it a perfect destination for those in love. There is so much to do and it’s hard to think that the island can get any better as a vacation destination.
But 35 years after they opened their first couples-only, all-inclusive resort along Montego Bay, Sandals Resorts has reimagined and expanded its island resorts.
Lovebirds can stay at the new Love Nest Suites that offer high-level pampering for the couple. When they aren’t enjoying the variety of activities that Jamaica has to offer, they can relax in their rooms, enjoy the services of a personal butler who will take care of their every need. Relax in the spa-style bathrooms that are decorated with solid marble tubs floating on beds of river rocks, and have Tranquility Soaking Tubs designed for two, so you can cuddle and unwind.
If you can’t get enough of the Caribbean’s beautiful turquoise waters, Sandals has also created luxury Over-the-Water Villas that put the water right under your feet. Located at Sandals Cay, the resort’s private island, the excursion to the resort begins with a private ferry that will take guests from the mainland to the island. In the room, travelers enjoy a close-up view of the water right under their feet. There is also a private deck, pool and outdoor shower so you can tune out the world and tune into your vacation.
If Romeo & Juliet had ever made it to their honeymoon, they would have stayed at Sandals’ new Beachfront Millionaire Suites or the Romeo & Juliet Suites in Montego Bay. Located on a private beach, the master bedrooms feature a king-size bed and HD smart TV and when the newlyweds wanted to ease their muscles from the family tensions, a lavish spa-style bathroom would be waiting for the lovers.
Some resorts also include romantic firepit lounges each night where the couples can nap on new over-the-water hammocks. With the tranquil tubs for two, romantic spa bathrooms, and rooms located right on the water, Sandals is not just creating a vacation, but they are making the romantic island an even more romantic adventure.
When it’s not about romance on any of the Sandals Resorts, it is always about food. Sandals’ Ochi Beach Resort, which encompasses over 100 acres, has 16 restaurants to choose from that appeal to every palate. There’s Italian, Chinese, Southern, Mediterranean, French and Korean cuisine just to name a few. The Rabbit Hole is a 1920s themed bar that features live entertainment and curated cocktails served by classic flapper girls and strapping barkeeps. You can order a tangy “Bee’s Knees” or sip a “Sidecar.” The Rabbit Hole is a unique venue that requires a password in order to enter.
If you have ever liked more than one resort, Sandals now includes full exchange privileges, which means that you get to dine at one resort, while staying at another.
