Airports and hotels around the world have been adding charging stations where travelers can go to bring their cellphones, tablets and laptops back to life.
But now one hotel brand is doing the same for traveling electric car owners.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company announced Tuesday that it will offer new electric charging stations at its hotels around the globe.
The stations have already been installed at a majority of the brand's North American properties. Select international locations also boast the convenient amenity, Ritz-Carlton said.
The hotels will feature two charging stations so multiple guests can benefit at the same time. What's more, the stations will allow guests to charge for up to 150 miles in just two and a half hours' times.
In a statement accompanying Tuesday's announcement, Ritz-Carlton's Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Ed French said the company is "committed to adopting a lifestyle in which we can travel responsibly."
"Globally, we focus our efforts in three areas, of which one is environmental responsibility."
Guests can find the electric charging stations at Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world, but notable locations include Barcelona, Beijing, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Hong Kong, Montreal, Naples, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, DC, among others.
