Do you love Star Wars? Now fans of the movies who are having trouble waiting for the next installment of the series—The Force Awakens hits the silver screen on December 18—can live out their Jedi fantasies by visiting Walt Disney World.
According to Disney World’s official website, the Orlando, Florida, amusement park is once again hosting its annual Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 15 to June 14.
Guests will be greeted by host James Arnold Taylor, who was the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and will be transported into an immersive world straight out of the movie series.
During the weekends, visitors will witness full Stormtrooper patrols making their way through the park and can even expect to encounter Boba Fett looking to collect his latest bounty.
There will also be a plethora of former actors and actresses from the movie series on site during particular weekends. With scheduled appearances from Frank Oz (the voice of Yoda), Ian McDiarmid (portrayed Emperor Palpatine), Ray Park (portrayed Darth Maul) and Peter Mayhew (portrayed Chewbacca), fans will be able to ask their favorite characters about the movie. The Star Wars fun doesn’t end there, either. With enough Star Wars memorabilia to make you go broke, movie-themed dining experiences, Jedi training and more, there is something to do at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios for fans of all ages.
Add in nightly fireworks displays that are rivaled only by the explosion of the Death Star, and any fan of Star Wars should be looking to make the journey to Florida. For full ticket options and prices, check out Disney’s official website.
