It’s not too late to take advantage of Palace Resorts’ “Kids Stay FREE” promotion.

Through Aug. 31, children 12 years and younger eat, play and stay for free at any of the Palace Resorts family-friendly properties. Families staying at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, signature property Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Playacar Palace, Beach Palace and Cozumel Palace can take advantage of a host of activities and entertainment all geared toward making young visitors’ stays ideal in every way.

Each family-friendly property features The Playroom, a kid-friendly zone with iPlayrooms, an Xbox room, beauty salon and spa, a dollhouse area, playgrounds, a pirate ship and even a mini-soccer field and creativity area. Kids visiting The Playroom can take a variety of classes, including those in Spanish, balloon sculpture, mask-making, piñata making, cooking and more.

The Moon Palace Jamaica Grande and Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort offer the extra excitement of a Flowrider double-wave simulator, where budding surfers and old pros can hang 10 to their hearts’ content. What’s more, guests of the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort can visit KidZania, a kid-sized city run by kids. There, kids can learn all about the exciting life in a bustling city as they act out their grownup dreams. They can choose from among 120 professions, such as firemen, surgeons, bakers and more. (Parents should be aware that children visiting KidZania must be accompanied by an adult.)

Beyond the Playroom and KidZania, there are many activities the entire family can enjoy, from shows such as Grease and a Michael Jackson tribute show to karaoke and a fire show. Guests can play mini golf, borrow bikes for a spin around the resort, play tennis, even table tennis.

And for added adventure, parents can pack up the kids for a visit to nearby attractions such as the Cozumel Palace’s Dolphin Habitat, or for those staying at the Playacar Palace or Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Chichen Itza, Isla Mujeres, Wet ’n' Wild, and Ultimate Dolphin Swim Experience. Guests of the Moon Palace can also take a jungle tour and visit the Aquatwister. Families staying at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande won’t want to miss the chance to swim with the dolphins, go river tubing, explore the Blue Hole cenote, or explore Mystic Mountain, where kids can play in the waterslide or marvel at nature in the butterfly and hummingbird gardens.
